Case 06 · D&N SanitarySanitaryware · Market entry + marketplaces

From Dubai and Oman
to Dutch bathrooms.

D&N Sanitary is a sanitaryware brand from Dubai and Oman: wall-hung toilets, baths, whirlpools and wall panels. Etienne brought it to the Dutch market with a Dutch webshop, one product feed for Bol.com and Google, and the product content buyers need before they order. On Bol.com, orders grew 3.8 times in the second year. Now the brand takes its next step: we are rebranding D&N Sanitary for business customers.

01 · The challenge

Known in the Gulf. Unknown in the Netherlands.

In Dubai and Oman, D&N Sanitary had a name. In the Netherlands it had no shop, no reviews and no search history, in a category where buyers compare size, fit and price before they buy a toilet or a bath.

02 · What we did

A Dutch launch on one product feed.

A Dutch WooCommerce webshop with clear product pages, sizes and an installation manual for every product. From that same catalogue, one feed via Channable to Bol.com and Google Shopping, so prices, stock and texts live in one place. Google Ads and SEO brought in the searches.

03 · The result

3.8× the orders in year two.

On Bol.com, orders grew 3.8 times in the second year and the conversion rate tripled, from 0.33% to 1.02%. Wall-hung toilets brought the volume; baths and whirlpools brought in most of the revenue.

The range

Wall-hung toilets, baths, whirlpools and wall panels.

What we learned

What sold, and why it matters

  • An entry product brings the orders: wall-hung toilets converted more than three times as well as baths.
  • Expensive products make the revenue: baths and whirlpools brought in most of it, with far fewer sales.
  • The peak came in December and January. Plan stock and budget around it.
  • One feed for everything: prices, stock and product texts kept in one place.
Next chapter In progress

D&N Sanitary becomes a B2B brand.

After two years of selling to consumers, D&N Sanitary is turning to business customers. We are rebranding it for B2B. The consumer webshop and the Bol.com offer are paused while the new D&N is built.

Questions we answer in a 20-minute intro:

  1. Why does my competitor show up in ChatGPT and we don't? Usually it comes down to the sources AI trusts. In 20 minutes we show you which ones mention them, and how to get you in.
  2. How do we get more leads without a bigger ad budget? By putting ads and SEO on one keyword plan, so they stop competing for the same clicks. We'll show you where that pays off first.
  3. Our new website looks great. So why doesn't it rank? Often it's structure, speed or content Google can't read. We check it live and give you the first three fixes.
  4. What does AI say about our company right now? Let's ask it together. In the intro we check Google's AI overview, ChatGPT, Perplexity and Gemini for your name.
  5. Which of our marketing actually brings in customers? We tie every channel to calls, forms and sales, so you know what each euro brings in. Want to see where you stand?
